About the High School Equivalency Exam
The high school equivalency exam covers five key areas of education — writing, science, math, social studies and literature. The test includes multiple choice, gridding, graphing and essay question formats and takes about 10.5 hours to complete. You may take the entire high school equivalency exam all at once, or take just one or more topics at a time — you are not required to take the entire high school equivalency exam all at once.
Pathways High School Equivalency offers practice tests to help prepare you for taking the actual exam.
